About the Journal
Medical Laboratory Science Journal (MedLab) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes research across diverse areas of medical laboratory science. The journal’s focus and scope include, but are not limited to: clinical chemistry, hematology, immunology and serology, microbiology, parasitology, transfusion medicine and blood bank technology, cytology, clinical toxicology, molecular biology, molecular diagnostics, point-of-care testing (POCT), laboratory management and quality systems, laboratory-based public health surveillance, biomedical instrumentation and laboratory innovation, as well as laboratory education and professional development.

Medical Laboratory Science Journal (MedLab) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research, education, and professional practice in medical laboratory science. The journal provides a platform for medical laboratory scientists, researchers, educators, healthcare professionals, and policymakers to disseminate original research, technological innovations, and evidence-based practices that support excellence in laboratory diagnostics and healthcare services.
MedLab welcomes high-quality submissions in the form of original research articles, review articles, technical reports, case studies, and policy analyses. The journal publishes scholarly works in clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, molecular diagnostics, pathology, transfusion science, laboratory quality management, biomedical laboratory technology, and other fields related to medical laboratory science.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by independent experts to ensure academic quality, originality, ethical integrity, and scholarly contribution.
