Call for Papers

We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the Community Empowerment and Learning Journal (CELJ), a peer-reviewed journal published by the Kadewaguru Foundation. CELJ provides a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and community members to disseminate innovative approaches, case studies, and research findings related to community empowerment, education, and learning in diverse social and cultural settings.

CELJ accepts manuscript submissions in both English and Bahasa Indonesia to promote inclusive scholarly communication and encourage participation from local and international contributors.

Focus and Scope

CELJ welcomes original research articles, literature reviews, case studies, and community-based reports focusing on, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Community Empowerment Strategies and Practices
  • Educational Development and Lifelong Learning
  • Participatory Action Research
  • Community-based Education Programs
  • Local Wisdom and Indigenous Knowledge
  • Literacy and Learning in Marginalized Communities
  • Sustainable Development through Education
  • Community Engagement and Service Learning

Publication Frequency

CELJ is published twice a year, in February and August, to align with academic cycles and ensure timely scholarly work dissemination.

Language of Publication

Authors are welcome to submit their manuscripts in either English or Bahasa Indonesia. All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process by qualified reviewers in the relevant fields.
