Community Empowerment and Learning Journal (CELJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarly articles on community service, community engagement, and community empowerment. Published by Kadewa Bakti Cendekia, CELJ provides a multidisciplinary platform for academics, educators, researchers, practitioners, healthcare professionals, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and community partners to disseminate evidence-based community service initiatives, innovative empowerment programs, and sustainable solutions that generate meaningful societal impact.

The journal publishes articles reporting the implementation, outcomes, evaluation, and best practices of community service and empowerment activities across diverse disciplines. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, community-based education, service-learning, community health and well-being, participatory development, community empowerment, capacity building, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, environmental sustainability, local wisdom, social innovation, and lifelong learning.

CELJ welcomes manuscripts written in English and Bahasa Indonesia and encourages interdisciplinary collaboration that strengthens partnerships between higher education institutions and communities while contributing to sustainable and inclusive development.

The journal provides a platform for academics, practitioners, educators, community organizations, and policymakers to disseminate innovative programs, evidence-informed practices, and impactful community empowerment initiatives that contribute to improving societal well-being.

CELJ publishes articles reporting the planning, implementation, evaluation, outcomes, and impacts of community service and empowerment programs. The journal welcomes scholarly contributions in the form of community service articles, best practice papers, program evaluation reports, community engagement case studies, and interdisciplinary approaches that promote sustainable solutions for community development.

The journal covers a broad range of topics related to community empowerment, including education, health, economic empowerment, environmental sustainability, social innovation, digital literacy, local wisdom, cultural preservation, disaster preparedness, entrepreneurship, capacity building, and other multidisciplinary initiatives that generate measurable and sustainable benefits for communities.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by independent reviewers to ensure academic quality, practical relevance, originality, ethical integrity, and meaningful contributions to community development. CELJ is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

CELJ accepts manuscripts in English and Bahasa Indonesia to encourage broad participation and knowledge exchange among scholars and practitioners at both national and international levels.

All published articles are freely accessible immediately upon publication under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. CELJ is published biannually, with two issues released each year in May and November.
