About the Journal

Educational Management and Advancement Journal (EduMAJ) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to advancing educational research, theory, and practice. Published by the Kadewaguru Bakti Cendekia, EduMAJ provides a scholarly platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange innovative ideas and evidence-based insights that address contemporary and future challenges in education worldwide.

The journal publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, conceptual papers, and case studies. Its scope covers, but is not limited to:

  • Educational Management and Leadership — school management, higher education governance, leadership practices, strategic planning, quality assurance, and accreditation.
  • Curriculum, Teaching, and Pedagogy — curriculum design, instructional innovations, professional development, and teacher education.

Open Access & Copyright

EduMAJ follows a gold open-access policy, making all articles available without subscription barriers. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. Currently, EduMAJ does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs).

Editorial Policy & Peer Review

EduMAJ applies a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening and evaluation by at least two independent reviewers. The journal adheres to the highest standards of research ethics and integrity, guided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Archiving and Digital Preservation

EduMAJ ensures the long-term accessibility of its content through the LOCKSS system, with plans to integrate CLOCKSS or equivalent preservation systems.

Indexing and Visibility

EduMAJ is committed to enhancing academic visibility and discoverability. The journal is indexed in Google Scholar, DOAJ, and CrossRef, and pursues inclusion in other reputable services with the long-term goal of indexing in Scopus, Web of Science, and ERIC.

Publishing Entity

EduMAJ is published and managed by the Kadewaguru Bakti Cendekia, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing knowledge and supporting scholarly communication in education. The journal operates with complete editorial independence.

Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data collected by EduMAJ (e.g., author names, affiliations, contact information) is used solely for editorial and publication purposes and handled per applicable data protection and privacy regulations.
